Linking Professionals Social (Non) Networking Mixer

Location:
Sullivan’s of Leawood
4501 West 119th Street
Leawood, KS 66209
Google Map

Time: 3:30pm – 6:00pm

We have started this mixer EARLY to accomodate those professionals who struggle to attend traditional “happy hour” events due to family or other obligations. 3:30 arrival is an OPTION, not a requirement.

A nominal fee of $25 is payable at registration while this program is in BETA.*

No walk-ins will be permitted.

For years Laura Wynn has worked a speaking circuit teaching professionals that effective networking should  emphasize the importance of building trusted real life relationships for business viability and longevity. It’s also crucial to know the fundamentals of your new contacts’ business offerings. While simple in theory, it’s often difficult to accomplish both in one fragment of time investment.

You are not paying to attend this event.

You are paying for Laura’s professional matchmaking skills and twenty plus years of accredited business development. Prior to each event Laura will promote registered guests by conversing with “you” on Twitter, Linked In and Facebook. Laura will use these mediums to pull you into strategically created conversations as a means to gain “followers” and “likes” for your Internet brand.

During online registration you will be asked to provide an “elevator speech”, for lack of better term. Do not over think this; simply describe a good contact for you. Laura will handle the rest! You may bring business cards but they are not necessary as each attendee will receive this information by direct email.

After each event, Laura will compose a follow up email that will include the same information you provided to her prior to the event. This publication, inclusive of your contact information, will be distributed only to those professionals on the VIP list. This list will be composed of current and past attendees of these high profile mixers.

Time: Noon – 1:15pm CST

In this webinar, you’ll learn the power of SmartActions, which is based on extensive research around productivity and market behavior.  As proven as these ideas are, most job-seekers don’t effectively implement them:

  • A simple, essential way to stay on top of every job search activity
  •  The mind-blowing principle that you must understand and apply to shorten your job search
  • Why working on your resume, practice interviews, cover letters, and LinkedIn profile before this one thing is unproductive and makes your search longer and harder
  • The market dynamic that helps you get “sucked” into new job opportunities
  • The cost of slowness and a proven way to overcome this easily
  • Why now is the critical time to move quickly and effectively

For those who attend live, there will be a special bonus: an opportunity for have a live 15-minute 1:1 consult on any questions you have that came up during the webinar.  But only if you come on for the live call.
