It is a weekly Monday night gathering of geeks who enjoy topics including, but not limited to, application and web development (code of all kinds), entrepreneurship, gaming, marketing, design, movies, the current state of all things tech, and usually beer and other cocktails. This Meetup is very much unstructured – feel free to come and geek out on just about ANYTHING. Laptops more than welcome.
Join us on Labor Day as we get a special tour of the Google Fiber Space. We’ll then head across the parking lot to our own space for our typical Monday night geekery, along with food and drinks provided by Google. We expect to wrap up around 8:30, but surely we won’t have any trouble finding a nearby venue to continue the conversation at.

How did SMCKC join forces with the Mayor’s office, H&R Block, Barkley, and Visit KC to turn Kansas City into the social media capital of the sports tourism world for a few heady midsummer days?
