Studies have shown that 80% of business people do NOT have the network they need to succeed.  Now that you are faced with searching for a new job it’s more important than ever!  Do you have that network?

If you are like most people, you’ve increased the time you spend networking.  But are you effective at it? Do you struggle with making your conversations and contacts REALLY count?

In this fast-paced interactive presentation you will learn about:

  • The EIGHT Networking Competencies (needed by almost everyone, in any job type; at all levels.)
  • The SIX stages of trust building and what to do and say at each stage;
  • The THREE Key Moments in any relationship;
  • Good questions to ask to help make your contacts count.

Speaker Bio:

Linda Steele began learning about developing new relationships in 1971 when she embarked on her first of seven moves to a new state.  Those moves to four different regions of the United States helped Linda develop skills to effectively network and communicate with people from all areas, all walks of life and educational backgrounds.

With an unquenchable interest in why people do what they do and how to change behavior, Linda earned Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.  She continues a lifelong study of psychology, motivation, learning and behavior.

Linda shares the secrets of behavior, motivation, interpersonal communications and relationships with people who want to be more objective, responsive and effective in communications in order to advance professionally and personally.
