We all put our social media knowledge to use in our personal and professional lives nearly every day, but how often do we have the chance to use these skills to support important social causes? At the January SMCKC breakfast, we’ll have this exciting opportunity: Jackson County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) will join us for a brief presentation about how they recruit, train, and support lay volunteers who act as advocates on behalf of the best interest of abused and neglected children – Then we’ll share our collective expertise to help Jackson County CASA identify new ways to help its volunteer staff and board create and share content about the organization’s activities.
The Brainzooming Group will facilitate the session using a combination of in-person and online collaboration tools to maximize the ideas we generate for Jackson County CASA.
